Background Investigations

I have written previously about the bastardization of the vetting process since the Obama administration has taken the helm.

For those who care, and can stand to read more than two sentences take a gander at this interesting link.

The shit is getting deep as Federal background investigators are dropping like flies knowing current instructions to fast-track clearances at all levels to be potentially disastrous to the United States as well as to the responsible background investigator.

To funny.....Personally, I think this country would be a lot better off if the people would get behind whoever is elected rather than having a four year pitty party because their party did not win. Moderates and independants are the key to this countries future. Diehard Republicans and Democrats who can't get their heads out of their asses long enough to see any positives that the other party brings are the ones who bring this government to a screaching halt. So " Obama bash " all you want, the majority of the problems that this country faces could be solved if we had politicians and CITIZENS that could look at the big picture rather than looking at the world through their " political party funel ". DIEHARDS are people who know who they are voting for even before the canidate is announced. Because to them, it really does not matter who the canidate is, as long as he is from their party. Unlike Panzer ( I am almost certain, but correct me if I am wrong ) and my father, I have voted for both Democrats and Republicans. I decide my vote based on the issues at hand and the person I feel is best suited to face those issues. I will at least give my Father some credit. He did not vote in the last election because he felt that both canidates were a mess. Just my 2 cents.

well as far as I am concerned, Obama is as far left as you can get.
I dont agree with the far right.

my vote goes to the canditate that most represents the middle.

I will have to say I am fiscally conservitave. Obama is not even close.

The original American patriots were those individuals brave enough to resist with force the oppressive power of King George. I accept the definition of patriotism as that effort to resist oppressive state power. The true patriot is motivated by a sense of responsibility, and out of self interest -- for himself, his family, and the future of his country -- to resist government abuse of power. He rejects the notion that patriotism means obedience to the state.

Ron Paul would get my vote if only on the basis of his Fiscal policy. Unfortuately, some of his other policies are less than desirable.

I think Obama has the wrong people around him in a lot of areas.
